In most cases, this issue is related to an extra SSD.

If Windows is installed in M.2 and you pull out the extra SSD, booting can be possible.

BIOS downgrade can be done by following this:

Anyway, to downgrade BIOS with just USB, the method is as follows:

1. Download old BIOS file

   ref) https://id.notebooks-center.com/drivers-asus.html

2. Unzip and change BIOS file name into "MODELNAME.BIN" (all letters should be UPPERCASE)

ex) filename (old): "GL502VS-AS.301" => filename (new): "GL502VS.BIN"

3) Prepare empty USB and format as FAT32

   - Open >> a Command Window (cmd)
   - Enter >> diskpart
   - Enter >> list disk (it is important you KNOW which disk is the USB key you are formatting)
   - Enter >> select disk x where x is your USB key
   - Enter >> clean
   - Enter >> create part primary
   - Enter >> select part 1
   - Enter >> active
   - Enter >> format fs=fat32 quick

4) Copy renamed BIOS file to the USB

5) Plug the USB into USB port (for me left side close to VGA port)

6) Press and hold CTRL + HOME and then press Power Button to turn off (keep hold on CTRL + HOME)

7) You will see BIOS is updating

8) If you can't see it, try step 6 one more time. Or, you may change the filename properly.
